American International Forest Products (AIFP) has been at the forefront of the building products trading industry since 1964. Our roots trace back even further to 1948, with a legacy of pioneering wholesale lumber and panel distribution.
As the first operating company in what is now Forest City Trading Group (FCTG), AIFP helped lay the foundation for one of the largest and most respected trading groups in North America. From the beginning, AIFP was built on a trader-first culture—focused on relationships, real-time market insight, and doing the right thing, deal after deal.
Over the decades, we've remained ahead of the curve, adapting to market shifts, launching new departments, and growing our capabilities. In 2025, AIFP and Affiliated Resources officially came together under unified leadership, expanding our reach, deepening our bench of experts, and solidifying our position as an unmatched force in the industry.
