Ben Rist joined AIFP in 2018 as a Lumber Trader Trainee. After completing the trader training program, Ben found his niche within the industrial low grade products. Due to his strong leadership abilities, he is now sharing the role of head of the industrial department. Ben enjoys the fast pace and consistent engagement of being a trader at AIFP. The opportunities to build relationships with people on and off the trading floor is something that he finds very fulfilling about being apart of the lumber industry. He thoroughly enjoys being a part of the team. As someone who was born and raised in the Willamette Valley, Ben spends his time outside of work enjoying the outdoors and exploring new places. He loves being able to spend time with his family and friends and living life to the fullest.
