Fall at AIFP: What We’re Looking Forward To

To AIFP, a great workplace is one where hard work is balanced with play. To honor that, we schedule fun—and lots of it. Whether it’s a company picnic, a golf tournament, or a fishing trip, employees have all-company events to look forward to each month.
We had a blast this summer, with our trader fishing trip and river cruise being a few company favorites. What’s on our plate this season?
One Warm Coat Drive
For the month of October, we’ll be holding a One Warm Coat Drive here at AIFP. Employees can donate coats, hats, scarves, gloves, and blankets. Every year, AIFP chooses which Portland, Oregon-area organization these items will be donated to. Last year, we donated everything to Rose Haven, and this year, we’ll be donating everything to the Good Neighbor Center. We’re really looking forward to supporting those in need; it’s a great way to move into the holiday season.
Admin Retreat
Our admin team makes sure our company runs like a well-oiled machine. To celebrate all their hard work, AIFP is treating the team to a weekend-long retreat. From October 6 to 8, the admin team will be staying at the Salishan Spa and Golf Resort in Gleneden Beach, OR. They’ll enjoy delicious food, cocktails, live music, spa treatments, and time on the beach. Plus, we’ll be taking everyone to a special glassworks studio where the team can make their own glass floats. Can’t wait!
Boo Buffet and Company Costume Contest
Halloween is an all-around company favorite. We go all out—and get a little competitive, too. In addition to a Halloween-themed buffet on the 31st, we’ll be holding our annual company costume contest. AIFP employees have historically shown up in some pretty stellar getups.
