Cedar
LIGHTWEIGHT
As a softwood, cedar is lightweight making it easy to maneuver, yet it remains stable as its natural properties cause it to be less likely to warp or crack overtime. It is also a porous wood allowing it to have the ability to absorb noise better than most other woods.
DURABILITY
Cedar excels in damp climates, making it extremely functional for regions with high humidity or experience consistent rainfall. With its natural resistance to decay it is a great option in preventing mold growth in damp settings.
NATURAL
Cedar wood offers many natural qualities that make it highly renewable and biodegradable. Western red cedar in particular not only has a beautiful red tint, but it also produces natural oils that deter insects from causing damage to the wood.
