About Brett
Brett Hanft joined AIFP in 2010 as a credit manager. With over 35 years of experience in credit and 25 years in the lumber industry, Brett was a great addition to the AIFP credit department. Although managing the risk and A/R portfolio for AIFP is always challenging, especially when working in such an unpredictable and cyclical industry, Brett truly enjoys watching AIFP grow and helping the traders succeed. He believes in the credit mantra of helping to 'maximize sales and minimize losses' for AIFP. When he is away from the office, Brett loves to travel and explore the many flavors of wine. He likes to give himself the 'license to chill' with a 'Boat Drink' as that is what he deems the perfect way to relax and unwind. But of course you can't forget Jimmy Buffett! Brett is an avid 'parrothead' and can be found relaxing to the soothing sounds of Jimmy Buffett.
