Doug Fir - S. DRY

Douglas Fir - S-DRY is used in residential, commercial and industrial applications and is graded for its performance in load bearing or load-carrying applications. Machine Stress-Rated (MSR) and visually graded lumber is used as components in manufacturing and engineered applications, and structural-glued (fingerjointed) products are recognized by U.S. building codes as interchangeable with solid-sawn lumber products of the same grade, species and intended end use. Dimension lumber structural grades include surfaced softwood products of nominal thickness from 2 inches to 4 inches in thickness by 2 inches and wider. Studs can be manufactured to the full basic length, double-end trimmed or precision-end trimmed to exact length.

Our primary objective is customer service. To meet this goal, we specialize in buying very large volumes from our suppliers so that we can meet our customer's specific tally needs; often shipping straight length carloads. This is an example of AIFP's service to both lumber manufacturers and our customers. We structure our purchases to meet the mill's production cycle and create shipments with specific tallies to meet our customer's requirement. The commitment to offer specialized tallies to our customers on a consistent basis has involved careful planning, constant monitoring and loyalty to our suppliers and customers.

AIFP Doug Fir specialists have an average of over 15 years' experience in Doug Fir distribution. We are experienced in all phases of the business: production, distribution, retail and construction. We estimate our 2004 orders for S-DRY Douglas Fir will top 100,000,000 BF. Our customers range from contractor yards, distribution yards to truss manufacturers located in the U.S.
