Since our beginning in 1964, our core strength has been in trading all species of dimension/stud lumber. In business 40 years, we have developed long-term relationships with lumber producers in all regions, know the market for lumber consumption in the United States like no other and develop creative solutions to service our suppliers and customers. In 2004, 70% of our annual sales will be attributed to dimension/stud lumber. Our dimension/stud shipments will top 20,000 orders and over 1 billion board feet this year. Trading an average of 5 million board feet in dimension/studs a day provides AIFP traders with up-to-the-minute market knowledge and opportunity to provide outstanding service to our suppliers and customers. We are proud of the expertise of our dimension/stud traders, many of whom joined us more than 10 years ago bringing with them prior industry experience. Our knowledge base in dimension lumber trading is second to none. We specialize in all species of dimension and stud lumber including SPF, European Spruce, Douglas Fir, Hem Fir and Southern Pine.
